Learn Remedy Comparisons: Mercurius solublis is one of the main remedies for sore throats acutely, with no other symptoms (Ferrum phosphoricum and Mercury). Mercury has a sore throat with stinging and raw feeling. Sore throat without symptoms? That is Ferrum phos . . . For sudden onset, the three main remedies are Aconite, Belladonna and Ferrum phos. Or this . . . Aconite and Belladonna are powerful, more violent, and more sudden. Ferrum phos. is mild and non-specific. First stage of colds, earaches, flus with a lack of symptoms.
